STAINED is a publication dedicated to accentuating the violence that occurs against women worldwide, empowering change within these unforgivable acts. The wordmark, spreads, and design elements are meant to evoke emotion and emphasize the weight of this social injustice.

Within the boundaries of violence I wanted to push my design skills. We were required to build a fictional magazine from nothing, develop a story with the accurate research, and explore visual languages to help develop a story with the publication.
Starting with a typographic wordmark to represent the concept and create visual hierarchy throughout the other pages.
